For my high school graduation project together with a friend I created my first iOS app, a medical self-diagnosis app that could reduce waiting periods for general practitioners. Creating this app gave me the opportunity to learn Swift and get familiar with the iOS ecosystem. To back the app with trustworthy medical data we used Infermedica's API, which offers symptom checking and patient triage. This also made it possible for us to develop a working app with the limited time that we had. The name and visuals of the app were inspired by the fictional character Baymax, the healthcare robot from Disney's animated movie Big Hero 6.
